Zhongsu Machinery has officially launched its upgraded PP hollow grid board (also known as hollow corrugated sheet / corflute sheet) production line, bringing higher efficiency, stable performance and eco-friendly manufacturing solutions to global customers in packaging, logistics, construction and advertising sectors.

The complete hollow grid board equipment adopts a high-performance single-screw extruder, precision alloy steel T-die and multi-zone vacuum calibration system. It can process both virgin PP and recycled PP raw materials, producing hollow grid sheets with uniform wall thickness, flat surface and consistent hollow grid structure. The finished boards feature lightweight, high impact resistance, moisture-proof, anti-static and 100% recyclable properties, widely used for turnover boxes, construction protection sheets, signage boards, electronic packaging and reusable partitions.

Compared with traditional models, this new line integrates an intelligent PLC control system supporting real-time parameter adjustment and remote monitoring. Optimized heating and water circulation cooling design cuts energy consumption significantly. The downstream unit includes haul-off, cutting, stacking and optional corona treatment modules to realize fully automatic continuous production. The production width and sheet thickness can be customized according to client requirements, with stable running speed and low failure rate.

Industry analysts point out that as global markets accelerate the phase-out of disposable paper and wooden packaging, the demand for recyclable PP hollow grid materials keeps rising. The upgraded hollow grid board extrusion equipment helps sheet manufacturers reduce raw material costs, improve product qualification rate and meet growing orders from overseas markets.
